TEST HYPOTHESIS

We hypothesize that by leveraging Youtube to create hyper-local targeted “entity stacks”, we can influence GPB local ranking nodes on a geographical level. Although this may not be exact, we believe that these local silos will provide geographical relevance as well as topical relevance, therefore influencing rankings for target terms within the areas targeted in our local Youtube silos.

TEST SETUP

We had followed a method from a recent training involving generating YouTube videos to boost the online presence of this business. These videos, embedded with various links and business information, are part of a strategy aimed at enhancing visibility through targeted keywords and location-based optimization. The descriptions contain links, NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) details, and other pertinent information.

It’s important to note that the address provided is not the actual business location, but rather a service area, indicating the business operates within a specific region without a fixed address, making this specifically a SAB test.

We also generated maps and direction links to the targeted neighborhood using specific keywords. The strategy included creating direction links FROM and TO the neighborhood, optimizing the business’s visibility for that location in theory.

The YouTube videos were heavily optimized for “painter TOWN” and “professional painters”, as the term ‘professional painters’ is part of the brand name. These terms were included in the video descriptions, links and NAP details relevant to the listing. This approach was not really about creating content but strategically embedding information to reinforce the business’s online footprint in relation to the referenced earth/map and driving links.
